          What do you need to know about the Wind of Hope 2021 festival, which was organized for the sixth time by the Patriarchal Commission for Youth of the UGCC? Catch 10 interesting facts!

          The slogan of this year’s festival is “Call for Change”.

          The new stylish identity is a colorful bird that inspires movement.

          Despite the restrictions due to quarantine, there were several thousand participants from different parts of Ukraine.

          The themes of the sites (40 of them in different locations) have been extremely diverse – religious, social, educational,  business, financial, cultural and many others. They were filled not only with interesting communication, but also with very useful cases from more than 120 speakers who were the coolest among the coolest experts in their field.

          Attendees had the opportunity to:

          – become more educated by participating in various platforms,

          – find answers to questions that interested them after hearing them from the speakers,

          – to grow spiritually by confessing and immersing themselves in prayer,

          – to find new friends.

          At the same time, several dozen priests administered the Sacrament of Confession, so that all who were willing to get rid of the burden of sin had the opportunity to do so.

          25 nuns were ready to communicate with young people on a variety of topics and help find solutions to complex problems.

          Among the top speakers there was Adrian Slyvotsky, the director of OliverWyman, one of the most prominent specialists in modern management. He studied at Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School.

          Also there was  Borys Gudziak, Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, head of the Philadelphia Archdiocese in the United States.

          Another speaker was Valeriia Kozlova.  She is the strategic partner of LvBS and along with the systematic transformation of business results of companies, Valeriia has been researching the inferiority complex of Ukrainians for more than 15 years.

          Kateryna Pavlenko was among the speakers as well. She is a soloist of the electro-folk band Go_A, which represented Ukraine at Eurovision this year.

          The world-famous designer of Ukrainian embroidered shirts Yulia Magdych was a speaker too.

          Padre Serge, Roman Demush, Ivan Hnatiuk who are popular priests-bloggers among youth also had a speech in front of audience.

          The guest of honor from the Vatican, Father Joao Chagas, who visited Ukraine for the first time, spoke at the festival as well.

          It was possible to follow the event in different parts of the world, as it was broadcast online.

          An extraordinary concentration of music groups – fashionable, modern, inflammatory, who performed on two stages could be observed.

          On the day stage in the middle of Stryj Park, festival visitors listened to songs by MetaNoya, ModernFolk, KVANT, PopryVse, CRY NEBA.

          And on the evening stage they had a chance to listen to DikoBrass, FIOLET and the headliner of the program – electro-folk band Go_A.
