After waking up, we normally hurry to our usual activities, duties, and plans. But, later in the evening, when analyzing our day, we do not find within it almost anything that could be «included» to the real treasures – good deeds. It is such deeds, however, that are our primary task on this earth. We offer you some recommendations for having time to «improve» the world every day.

If you suddenly, in the morning, wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you should absolutely change it for another. Just to say by way of a joke. Today, God offers you another opportunity to work with Him, to realize God’s plans in your work. Give thanks to Him for this in your prayer, as well as for those who are near you. Thus the heart gets filled with serenity and strength.
Go further to action. Prepare breakfast for those close to you. This can be either for your parents, spouse, sibling(s), or your roommate. Such a detail has quite an important meaning.
Try not to violate traffic regulations and the rules of etiquette today. No matter how difficult it was, even if you are in hurry and there are no cars, just wait for the green light, since you give an example to others. And, however you’d like to respond, in an overcrowded bus, to some groundless claims or someone pushing you, you’d better ask the Holy Spirit for peace and grace.
Come on time and with a smile to your work or study place. This is a habit which not only helps you to regulate your schedule, but also primarily demonstrates your respect for your colleagues.
Try not to miss occasions to be thankful. Give thanks sincerely, even for little things. Gratitude makes communication more profound and pleasant, making relationships become stronger.
Think of a small surprise for someone today. It can be a visit to your friends, a phone call, or even an unexpected compliment. Just switch on your imagination!
Make some donation, even the smallest. It should not necessarily be money. It can simply be time dedicated to a person who needs your support or advice.
Read something good. The habit of reading every day, at least several pages, is extremely useful. If it is spiritual literature, it’s just as great, especially if you find it boring. Read, for for example, St. Augustine. You’ll be impressed by it!
Find time for your health. Any kind of exercise will give you more energy and inspiration, making you stronger. A body is also God’s gift for which we are responsible.
Here are ten recommendations, and they are quite realistic! Don’t miss occasions to be and to act. God relies upon you!
